Hi everyone, my name is Commando and I’m one of the hosts of “The History of Swear Words.” Janerio and I have known each other for ten years now! We went to the same elementary where we met each other in grade 1.

You could say that I was quite used to swearing because of my older siblings. Sometimes they would curse playing video games or swear accidentally when I would be around. This was one of the ways that I was accustomed to swear words.
Elementary School’s Introduction and Inspiration to Us
A lot of kids would hear about new swear words and tell other kids about it. This lead us to hearing about them and using it in our vocabulary. We were thinking about this when creating this Podcast. We began to realize that when we were younger we didn’t know the meaning of the words we were saying or the history behind them. Then, we thought of a fun Podcast talking about the history of swear words. That’s how we came up with the “History of Swear Words.”

I was introduced to swear words through the media. Various Youtubers and creators that I watched would often swear in their videos. They influenced the use of swear words into my vocabulary.
